Plymouth Children's University
Summer Mix is pleased to offer programmes that are viewed as accredited learning destinations for PLymouth Children's University. The Children's University is a national organisation offering children aged 5-14 of all levels of ability an exciting and innovative programme of high quality learning opportunities outside school hours.
Children are given their own 'Learning Passport' which can be used at validated 'learning destinations', these may be clubs at school or more public destinations such as the City Museum and Art Gallery or the local library. Children are encouraged to collect hours of learning towards nationally recognised awards for between 30 and 1000 hours of participation.
There will be a celebration graduation event in collaboration with Summer Mix and Plymouth Children's University in September at the Plymouth Guildhall to celebrate the achievements of the young people.
